We are pleased to announce that Black Women Film Network member, Heather Morris, has been accepted into the Universal Pictures Leadership Program. Based in Los Angeles, California, the Leadership Program is designed to foster a pipeline of creative talent for the Universal Pictures Motion Picture Group. As a program participant, Ms. Morris will be exposed to the complete process of filmmaking, from greenlighting films to box office openings and home video release, through three eight-month rotations within the Motion Picture Group. Prior to her relocation to Los Angeles, Ms. Morris practiced corporate and entertainment law in Atlanta, GA. She is a graduate of Howard University (B.S., Computer Science, 2000) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., 2006).
